iam Jewellery is handcrafted by Finnoula Marcoolyn-Lindsay in her Sydney studio. She has been making jewellery under the label since falling in love with the practice at University in 2018.

iam is about embodying the spirit of creativity and embracing beautiful design to complement your life. Jewellery is a beautiful practice in its combining of traditional techniques and contemporary ideals and a sustainable way to bring art into the everyday. Committed to creating unique and special pieces, iam keeps release numbers low and creates seasonal, thematic collections.

About Finnoula

Hey it’s me, Finnoula! A little about me and my passion for jewellery and ornamentation.

It seems I’ve always had an affinity for creation and adornment, whether it was making jewellery out of shells and bottle caps as a kid or chains and rings made from staples in high school. I’ve always loved the idea of turning objects into wearable pieces of self-expression. And I still do it, my studio is constantly full of souvenirs waiting to be given a new life on display.

Learning to make jewellery opened a whole new world of possibilities for me, being able to turn fantastical designs into physical, wearable pieces. I first learnt the practice during my Bachelor of Design and after graduating, worked in the industry for a while. And, after getting carried away making pieces to cover myself in, I bring you iam, to bring to you, the same joy jewellery has brought me.
